Forecast Runs, Syncs, Quotas, and Lead-Time Review
Start and monitor forecast runs, understand refresh limits, diagnose active jobs, and turn receipt evidence into reviewed Planning Rules.
Forecast Runs record submission and processing status. They explain when the current Action Lines were refreshed, but Action Lines remain the current operational plan rather than a frozen copy of every run.
Start a manual sync
- Open Inventory > Niyu AI > Forecast Operations > Run Sync Now.
- If a run is already active, open it instead of starting another.
- Wait for queued or running work to complete.
- Open Planning Overview or Action Lines after the Run reaches Done.
Read a Run
- State: Draft, Queued, Running, Done, Failed, or other lifecycle state.
- Request Source: manual or scheduled.
- Remote Status and Checked On: latest processing status and check time.
- Started On and Completed On: run timing.
- Warehouses and line count: submitted or applied scope.
- Message or Error: quota, connection, processing, or result-application context.
- Syncs Left Today: stored response for the current plan when available.

Manual and scheduled refresh limits
Manual and scheduled runs can have separate allowances. When manual quota is exhausted, existing results remain available and the quota notice provides shortcuts to the latest run, Planning Overview, and Settings. Repeated clicks do not improve a known exhausted quota.
Scheduled operation
The module includes scheduled forecasting and result polling. Administrators should set the forecast time so planning finishes before users start work, and should not schedule more runs than the subscribed allowance supports.
A run remains active
- Open the Run and check status and the last checked time.
- Confirm result polling is enabled in Odoo Scheduled Actions.
- Check outbound HTTPS, API key, and server logs for a real connection or processing error.
- Do not launch parallel replacement runs while an active job is still valid.
- After the cause is corrected, start one controlled retry.
Analyze Lead Times
- Enable Lead Time Learning in Settings > Niyu Smart Stock.
- Open Inventory > Niyu AI > Forecast Operations > Analyze Lead Times.
- Choose company, date range, optional vendor, warehouse, or category, and an aggregation level.
- Run the analysis against completed receipt evidence.
- Open Lead Time Suggestions and review sample count, average, median, P80, current value, proposed value, and confidence.
- Apply or Ignore each reviewed suggestion.
What Apply does
Applying a suggestion creates or updates a Planning Rule for the selected scope. It does not silently rewrite product or vendor master data. P80 is a conservative receipt-time statistic and may raise coverage, so the business context still matters.
Useful support evidence
- Odoo and module version.
- Run name, state, timestamps, message, and request source.
- One affected product and warehouse.
- The selected Planning Rule and Ordering Profile.
- Redacted screenshots without the API key.
- Relevant Odoo log timestamp.
Demand History is separate
Opening Demand History is a local analysis. It does not create a Run and does not use a forecast refresh.
Create RFQs and Internal Transfers
Create purchasing and transfer documents from approved Action Lines while preserving draft review, live revalidation, UoM conversion, and document safety.
Continuous, Recurring, and Manual Purchasing
Choose the right ordering method for on-demand purchasing, fixed supplier reviews, container cycles, and irregular manual order dates.
