Operational UI: Dashboards & Action Lines
A breakdown of the daily workspaces used by inventory planners to review health, take action, and verify AI recommendations.
Planning Overview Dashboard
- Acts as the management KPI hub, translating the queue into metrics.
- Displays Urgent Action counts (Buy, Transfer, Setup Blockers), estimates necessary Purchase Capital, and highlights Multi-Warehouse Rebalance opportunities.
- Categorizes overall inventory health into Stockout, Critical, Healthy, Overstock, and Ignored.
Action Lines Workspace
- The centralized list of current operational recommendations, updated with every forecast.
- Execution States: Tracks lines as No Action, Pending, Partial (e.g., Transfer done, Buy pending), Done, Blocked, or Ignored.
- Form View: Displays deep context, including donor allocations, prediction graphs, execution guidance, and quick-action buttons (Create Transfer, Create/Update RFQ).
Demand History Verification
- A local tool allowing planners to audit the AI's math.
- Displays 6, 12, or 24 months of history, splitting demand into SO, POS, and Inherited.
- Crucially, it reconstructs end-of-day physical availability and warns users of "Out-of-Stock (OOS) days" where recorded demand may be understated due to empty shelves.
Local Planning Engine & Control Rules
How Odoo calculates local replenishment needs using the cloud forecast, and how managers control behavior using Rules and Exclusions.
Execution: Purchasing, Transfers, and Lead Times
The physical execution mechanisms the system uses to fulfill stock shortages via inter-warehouse movement and optimized external purchasing.
