Navigation and Administration
The complete guide for Odoo administrators to connect the module, configure user access, and navigate the application menus.
The Settings Application
- The module installs a dedicated "Niyu Smart Stock" Settings sidebar app.
- Connection & First Run: Administrators input the License Key here, which is stored securely as an Odoo system parameter. Once entered, users click "Run Initial Sync" to begin processing.
- Plan & Capacity: Displays a backend snapshot of the subscription tier, SKU limits, maximum forecast horizon, and refresh limits.
- Forecast Inputs: Contains global toggles to exclude archived products, include POS demand, and enable replacement planning.
Security Access Roles
- Access is mapped via the "Niyu Forecast Access" field on user records.
- Niyu Forecast Manager: Full operational access to run forecasts, manage rules, execute RFQs, and configure exclusions.
- Niyu Forecast User: Read-only access intended for reviewers; can view dashboards and Action Lines but cannot create documents or change rules.
Navigation Menus
- The primary workspaces are located under
Inventory > Niyu AI. - This includes the Planning Overview, Action Lines, Runs, Planning Rules, Bulk Update Rules, Purchase Schedules, Lead Time analysis, Exclusions, and Replacement Planning.
